We were thrilled to see some parents from our ‘fan’club come and cheer us on at the Victoria Speech Festival today! If you weren’t able to make the date, we hope you got the ‘low down’ on how our Grade One Poets presented “Going to Bed” by Marchet Chute and “I Know You Won’t Believe Me?” by Jack Prelutsky Here is the “Skinny” on this BIG accomplishment…

Well… if you ask me, they stole the “show”!  (I might be just a lil’ biased…)These amazing little grade one students were animated, excited, Rhythmical,lively and dramatic – not to mention cute as buttons!  It was a great moment for them all, after months of hard and intense work on these poems.  Following the big debute, we headed for ‘mission control unit’ (A.K.A. CCCS) and had a big play, Popsicle and popcorn party! It was a great morning!
